About Blue Ridge Gospel Music QuartetTake a few minutes and meet BLUE RIDGE! This versatile music group began as an outgrowth of a county-wide youth group in Franklin, NC and has since crisscrossed the country with their contagious style of Gospel Music!

This seven member group has one of the most consistent personnel line-ups in the music industry. Kevin Corbin, Dwight Vinson, and Kelly Corbin have been with the group since the beginning (Kelly came one year in) with the other 3 members averaging over a dozen years with this well known group. These men have become a model of consistency.

The men who comprise BLUE RIDGE have developed a style of singing that has become popular with all who hear them. This Southern gospel quartet combines rich vocal harmonies with an exciting program of gospel music which is enjoyed by young and old. While unmistakably Southern Gospel, BLUE RIDGE often mixes styles with their love for country-gospel, barbershop quartet harmony, as well as some occasional contemporary or old-time gospel sounds!

The group has toured extensively throughout the United States and has made appearances to enthusiastic audiences in Canada.

BLUE RIDGE has been the subject of many industry news articles including many stories in the Singing News Magazine as well as other national and regional publications. The Singing News has recognized the Blue Ridge Gospel Music Weekend as one of the top muliti-day events in Gospel Music.

BLUE RIDGE has 24 recordings to its credit with a total of over 240 songs. 11 of these songs have been released nationally in the U.S. to Christian radio and have enjoyed charting in the National TOP 100. BLUE RIDGE has also filmed 3 full length gospel music videos which have received much television airplay nationwide. "Gospel Music Southern Style" featured Blue Ridge and friend Anthony Burger who passed away in 2006. "The View from Here" is a video that includes both live and concept video. "Timeless" is a video in live concert format. BLUE RIDGE became one of the first in the gospel music industry to use concept video.

BLUE RIDGE has been featured on many several television shows including the Gospel Music Television (GMT) specials as well as regular appearances on Southern Entertainment Television (SET). With their appearance on the Gospel World Premier by GMT, BLUE RIDGE was declared one of the Top 50 artists in Gospel Music by the producers at GMT.

BLUE RIDGE works with their music as a ministry and are well known among Gospel Music Fans as quality Christian entertainers. A BLUE RIDGE concert will definitely include some laughs and smiles as well as a sincere approach to the Gospel. All of the BLUE RIDGE church concerts end with some type of invitation for those in attendance to rededicate themselves to God, their church, and their families. BLUE RIDGE holds these priorities high. All the members of the group are Christians and are very active in their respective home churches. The group feels that local service is important.

While the style of BLUE RIDGE is unmistakably Southern Gospel, the diverse musical backgrounds of the members add some flavor to the style.

The latest single from BLUE RIDGE is the recently recorded "One Nation." This song, with a release date of June 15, 2009, is sure to be a patriotic hit with young and old. In the Spirit of "God Bless the USA," this strong song builds the relationship between God and Country.

The group is based in Franklin, North Carolina in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.

BLUE RIDGE hosts the annual Gospel Music Weekend in Franklin, N.C. each summer. The 3-day event is held the weekend prior to July 4 and is held at the Holly Springs Baptist Church at 7:00 pm each evening. This event has BLUE RIDGE each night as well as many of the top groups in Gospel Music!!
