Kevin Corbin - AKA : Corb or Corbs

Kevin has been with Blue Ridge since the beginning in 1980, when BR started out as a youth group. Kevin was one of the founders of BR. Kevin sings tenor, and emcees, along with setting up the concert schedules and coordination of the motels, etc for the group on the road.

Kevin enjoys most southern gospel music, along with clean country, and some 70’s Pop. A couple of his favorite groups are the Cathedral Quartet, the Oak Ridge Boys, and the Statler Brothers.

On his free time he enjoy doing anything with his family, four-wheeling, traveling, watching and participating in sports.

Kevin is a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he serves as Minister of Music. He was saved as a young boy at his home church during a 1974 revival meeting.

As Kevin points out, “I am married to Beth Corbin and I have two great kids, Matt and Maggie.”

When asked about some of his memories on the road Kevin smiled and told of a couple of the ones that come to mind immediately.

Kevin said, “there are so many, we have often joked that we are going to stop traveling because we have seen it all and need to write a book!!! Personal behavior training advice to us from Dr. Adams was great!

Mikey hitting his head on the TV in middle of the night and stump witnessing it... and what followed! Greg turning south on I-75 in Florida... and we are on our way home!!!

Kelly and David getting into an "intense conversation" just as a pastor was introducing us in front of a rather large crowd!!! ‘this will be my last weekend boys... this will wind me up !!.’ Someone always says that every trip out and we all belly laugh.

Mikey forgetting the kick off for our opening song and Kelly was trying to give him a clue by going "da..da..da" to musical notes. And Mikey yells, ‘I don't understand da, da, da’, as we were being introduced!!!”
