Neil Moore – AKA Papa

Neil Moore, who has been with the group since 1999, sings baritone and handles setup and take down of the product tables at the concerts.

Originally Neil was asked to fill in temporarily while the group looked for a baritone. The position turned into full-time ever since.

Neil is a fan of Southern Gospel music and a couple of his favorite groups are Perry’s and Heirline. He also enjoys woodworking, playing golf when he gets the chance, and spoiling his three grandkids.

Neil is a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he teaches the Young Married Class, plays the bass guitar during the music worship, and sings in the church choir. Neil’s better half is Darlene Moore. They have two children and three grandgirls.

One of Neil’s favorite times on the road was when Eric and he scared Kelly in the motel room. Kelly was coming back to the motel room and did not know that Eric and I were hiding in the room to scare him. Eric had one of those 'Jason' masks on too. When Kelly came in we jumped out but the first thing he saw was the mask... Needless to say Kelly's quick reflexes caused Eric to have a very sore nose.
